Other People’s Art (2/13/25)

We all know that photographing other people's art is against competition rules - unless the image has been manipulated in some way as to "make it your own".  The club discussed and showed examples of how this can be done.  Software editing tools offer many ways to change an image to make it more unique.  Mixing two pieces of art together can create a new vision.  Adding a person, like the classic case of people photographing the Mona Lisa, is another example.  Look for unusual angles or lighting or zooming close in on a portion of the art to showcase something different.
